The names of Adani & Wolf may not be very well known yet, but this certainly isn't their first release. They're the same guys behind Project 2000, the award-winning drum & bass-crossover band whose music was used on TV in the UK and US. They released an album three years ago and have also worked closely with and produced Praful on his One Day Deep album, which is currently doing so well in the US. As Adani & Wolf the duo delves deep into the heritage of South European and Latin American music: playful, soulful grooves, Spanish lyrics and an atmosphere that reminds the listener of those romantic late 60's black and white French or Italian movies. For their album Les Seigneurs both producers managed to secure the helping hands from some legendary musicians: guitarist Ernest Ranglin once played with Bob Marley and recently with St. Germain, singer Billie Godfrey worked with Sting and Kylie Minogue and of course there's Mr. Praful himself, helping out on vocals and tenor sax. Four of their tracks have been used in the soundtrack of the Dutch film 'Phileine Zegt Sorry' and there has been interest from big labels that release compilations in Europe and America.
